Community Guidelines
"Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." — Matthew 5:16
Christ One's United is a private, faith-based community built on the love of Jesus Christ. These guidelines exist to protect the integrity, safety, and spiritual health of our community. Every member — individual and business alike — is expected to uphold these standards.
1. Faith and Conduct
1.1 Authentic Faith
Membership requires a genuine affirmation of faith in Jesus Christ. Creating an account under false pretenses is a violation of these Guidelines and our Terms of Service.
1.2 Christ-Centered Conduct
All interactions on the Platform should reflect Christian values including honesty and integrity, respect and kindness toward fellow members, grace in disagreement, and humility in self-promotion.
1.3 No Proselytizing for Other Religions
This Platform is exclusively for the Christian faith community. Content promoting other religions, heterodox or syncretistic movements, or belief systems inconsistent with biblical Christianity is not permitted.
2. Business Standards
2.1 Truthful Listings
Business listings must accurately represent your business. Exaggerating services, fabricating credentials, or misrepresenting your business in any way is prohibited.
2.2 Legitimate Businesses Only
Only legitimate, legally operating businesses may list on the Platform. Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing recruitment, and fraudulent businesses are strictly prohibited.
2.3 Ethical Business Practices
Listed businesses are expected to conduct themselves with Christian integrity. Predatory pricing, deceptive practices, and exploitation of community members will result in listing removal.
2.4 Church Affiliation Honesty
The church affiliation listed on your business must be accurate. Falsely claiming a church affiliation to gain community trust is a serious violation.
3. Referrals
3.1 Good Faith Referrals Only
Only submit referrals for people who have genuinely expressed interest in a business's services. Fabricating referrals or submitting referrals without the knowledge of the person being referred is prohibited.
3.2 Accurate Information
Referral information must be accurate. Submitting false contact information or misleading need descriptions is prohibited.
3.3 Respect for Privacy
Never submit a referral containing sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary for the business to follow up.
4. Prayer Board
4.1 Sincerity
The Prayer Board is a sacred space. Only post genuine prayer requests. Using the Prayer Board for self-promotion, advertising, or any purpose other than sincere prayer requests is prohibited.
4.2 Respect for Others' Requests
Respond to prayer requests with encouragement and compassion. Critical, dismissive, or judgmental responses are not permitted.
4.3 Anonymity
Members who choose to post anonymously must be respected. Do not attempt to identify anonymous posters.
4.4 Prayer Request Confidentiality Notice
Prayer requests posted to the Platform are visible to all members. While we encourage members to treat prayer requests with care and discretion, Christ One's United cannot guarantee the confidentiality of content posted to the Prayer Board. Do not post information you are not comfortable sharing with all Platform members.
5. Testimonials
5.1 Genuine Experience Only
Testimonials must reflect genuine personal experience with the business. Do not write testimonials for businesses you have not personally used.
5.2 No Fake Reviews
Businesses may not solicit fake positive reviews or coordinate review campaigns. Businesses may not post testimonials about their own services.
5.3 Constructive Content
Testimonials should be constructive and encouraging. If you had a negative experience, we encourage you to contact the business directly before posting.
6. Job Board
6.1 Legitimate Opportunities Only
All job postings must represent genuine employment opportunities with real compensation (or clearly stated volunteer roles).
6.2 No Predatory Postings
Job postings that require upfront payments from applicants, promise unrealistic compensation, or are designed to harvest personal information are strictly prohibited.
6.3 Faith-Consistent Workplace
Job postings should be consistent with a faith-based community. Positions that require conduct contrary to Christian values are not appropriate for this Platform.
6.4 Accurate Descriptions
Job descriptions must accurately represent the position, compensation, and requirements.
7. Messaging
All messages between members must be respectful and professional. Do not send unsolicited bulk messages or promotional content. Harassment of any kind — including persistent unwanted contact — will result in immediate account suspension.
8. Guilds
Guild leaders are responsible for ensuring their Guild operates in accordance with these Guidelines. Guild invite codes are single-use and should only be shared with individuals who meet the Platform's faith requirements. Guilds used for commercial exploitation or activities inconsistent with Christian values are prohibited.
9. Prohibited Content
The following content is strictly prohibited on Christ One's United:
- Sexually explicit or suggestive content
- Content promoting violence or hatred
- Racist, discriminatory, or dehumanizing content
- Content mocking or disrespecting the Christian faith
- Political campaign content or partisan political messaging (content that discusses social, moral, or ethical issues from a biblical perspective is not prohibited solely because those issues are also subjects of political debate; this prohibition is directed at partisan electioneering, candidate endorsement, and political fundraising)
- Content promoting illegal activities
- Spam or repetitive commercial solicitation
- Personal attacks on other members
- Content that violates another person's privacy
10. Reporting
If you encounter content or conduct that violates these Guidelines: use the Report button available on job postings and other content, or contact us directly at support@christonesunited.com. All reports are reviewed by our administrative team and we will act promptly to address confirmed violations.
11. Enforcement
Violations of these Guidelines may result in content removal, warning notification, temporary account suspension, or permanent account termination. The severity of the response will be proportional to the nature of the violation.
12. Appeals
Members who believe an enforcement action was taken in error may appeal by contacting support@christonesunited.com within 30 days. Appeals are reviewed by our administrative team and decisions are final.
13. Updates
These Guidelines may be updated from time to time. Members will be notified of material changes via email.
"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." — 1 Peter 4:8
